Senior Internal Auditor (multiple positions)

Public Sector People are working with a government organisation within Brisbane who are seeking an AO5 Risk Advisor on a 4 month contract + extension Temp assignment with the opportunity to go directly with the client afterwards and apply for the permanent position within the Team.
   
Role Overview:

• Duration: February 2025 to May 2025 
• Location: Brisbane CBD plus client sites across QLD + WFH
• Hours: Maximum 7.25 hours per day (36.25 hours per week) with a minimum of 21.75 hours per week.
• Salary: $83.13 per hour + 11.5% Super

   
Role Titles and Rates:
Candidates may be considered for permanent roles if positions become available in the future, at which point we would negotiate terms directly.
   
Role Responsibilities:
   
As an Audit Senior:

• Identify and resolve significant audit matters, including client reporting.
• Support scoping, delivery, reporting, resourcing, and budgeting for the program of work.
• Ensure adherence to QAO's audit methodology, Australian Auditing and Assurance Standards, and Australian Accounting Standards.
