    Public Sector People (PSP) are partnered with a council in the south-eastern suburbs to recruit a highly skilled Training Implementation Officer for a 3-month temporary contract. 

    Responsibilities: 

    Training Program Development
    • Develop and implement a structured training approach for the OneCouncil program, ensuring alignment with program objectives and stakeholder needs.
    • Apply the ADDIE model to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate training initiatives effectively.
    • Create engaging, relevant, and best-practice-based training content to support adult learning and organisational development.
    • Collaborate with project teams and subject matter experts to assess training needs, identify learning gaps, and tailor solutions for diverse learning styles.
    • Ensure alignment of training strategies with existing organisational learning and change management frameworks.
    • Serve as a key contact for employees and leaders seeking guidance or support related to the OneCouncil training program.
    Training Delivery and Facilitation
    • Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and courses to employees at all levels across the organisation.
    • Utilise various training methods, including e-learning, instructor-led (virtual and in-person), and blended learning approaches to enhance engagement and knowledge retention.
    • Design and facilitate Train-the-Trainer sessions to empower subject matter experts to deliver training across the organisation.
    • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making continuous improvements as needed.
    • Work closely with the change management team to ensure training initiatives support a smooth transition to OneCouncil.
    • Establish and implement feedback mechanisms to assess training impact and participant satisfaction.
    Criteria: 
    • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or an equivalent professional qualification
    • Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing training programs for IT transformation projects such as ERP or CRM implementations
    • Experience in delivering training within a government environment
    • Expertise in delivering training using various methods, including Train-the-Trainer and hybrid models
    • Experience conducting training needs assessments and develop targeted training solutions
    • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and foster cooperation with key stakeholders and project teams
    • A National Police Check and Working with Children Check is required
