    We are looking for a highly skilled and professional Executive Assistant to support a CEO in a local council in the South-East which has a fast-paced and dynamic environment. In this role, you will manage the CEO’s schedule, assist with strategic initiatives, and ensure smooth daily operations at the executive level. The role will eventually involve 1-2 direct reports, and as a critical front-facing role, the expectation is to be in the office 5 days a week. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a supportive, high-level administrative position.

    Responsibilities
    • Executive Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling communication.
    • Strategic Assistance: Assist the CEO with the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documents for meetings, stakeholders, and board engagements.
    • Project Coordination: Help manage and track key projects, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are completed efficiently.
    • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with senior executives, internal teams, and external stakeholders on behalf of the CEO, fostering strong professional relationships.
    • Event Coordination: Organize and coordinate high-level events, meetings, and travel arrangements for the CEO and other executives.
    • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
    Qualifications
    • Education: Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
    • Experience: Significant experience in an executive assistant or senior administrative role, ideally supporting C-level executives.
    • Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software.
    • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
    • Attributes: High level of professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Local Council Experience: Knowledge of governance processes is required.
