As part of this commitment to excellence and transformation, we are seeking a Manager Strategy & Transformation
to play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of the organisation and leading initiatives that drive meaningful change.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director Strategy & Organisational Performance, this role will lead business transformation, corporate strategic planning, service planning, and performance monitoring. You will drive initiatives that enhance service delivery, customer experience, and overall community outcomes, while fostering a high performing, forward thinking organisational culture
A key focus will be leading Council’s transformation agenda – reimagining programs focused on people, place, processes and technology to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
You will oversee change programs, build organisational capability, and ensure alignment between Council services and long-term strategic goals.
As a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team and Councilors, you will provide expert strategic guidance, manage key stakeholder relationships, and champion a culture of agility, collaboration, and results-driven decision-making.
About the successful applicant
We are looking for a strategic and influential leader with experience in business transformation, corporate strategy, and service planning. Strong skills in strategic planning, performance reporting, stakeholder engagement, and change management are essential, along with a demonstrated ability to lead major organisational initiatives.
The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in corporate strategy, business planning, or a related field, and local government or public sector experience will be highly regarded.
