    About the role: 
    Coordination of maintenance programs including planned, preventative and reactive maintenance. Provide direction to employees and assist management with the alignment of strategic and operational objectives in designated departments. Mainly focused across Building Maintenance, Park and Playgrounds. 

    Key Responsibilities: 
    • Coordinate with assets, operational teams and engineers to determine maintenance needs and develop a maintenance program including the scheduling of planned and reactive maintenance activities.
    • Maintain and distribute high level planning and rolling three monthly forecast including manage resource capacity and schedule compliance.
    • Develop and monitor work plans and weekly schedules in consultation with field Team Leaders and Systems Operations. Advise on operational and technical matters as escalated from field crews
    • Track work orders to completion and providing a weekly summary of back log to Coordinators
    • Identify resource requirements, safety precautions and special work instructions required to execute the work
    • Review of operational compliance and action continuous improvement recommendations in consultation with Team Leaders and Assets team to achieve planned work schedules
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including management, to coordinate planned operational activities including changes, delays or other deviances
    • Monitor and report on operational activities and budgets as necessary, and investigate and report on non-compliances
    • Provide resource levelling for maintenance teams in line with schedules for planned works
    • Maximise equipment reliability and availability through using planned maintenance most effectively
    • Undertake any other task appropriate to the position and within the skills and competency of the incumbent as directed by the manager
    • Other duties as directed consistent with the operations of Council.
    • Experience with TechOne is highly advantageous
