Internal Auditor (multiple positions)

Public Sector People are working with a government organisation within Brisbane who are seeking an Internal Auditor on a 4 month contract + extension Temp assignment with the opportunity to go directly with the client afterwards and apply for the permanent position within the Team.  

Role Overview:

• Duration: February 2025 to May 2025 
• Location: Brisbane CBD plus client sites across QLD + WFH
• Hours: Fully Flexible working hours
• Salary: $56 per hour + 11.5% Super (based on experience)

Role Titles and Rates:
Candidates may be considered for permanent roles if positions become available in the future, at which point we would negotiate terms directly.
  
Role Responsibilities:

As an Auditor:

• Conduct fieldwork for financial and assurance audits across QLD, assisting with interim and final testing.
• Contribute to audit planning, client investigations, and communicate findings and risks.
• Adhere to QAO's audit methodology, Australian Auditing and Assurance Standards, and Australian Accounting Standards.
• Follow health and safety protocols and cooperate with safety systems and procedures.
