We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a Council based in Sydney's west on a contract through to September 2025. This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with Council leaders, providing expert HR advice and support across a variety of key areas.

Key Responsibilities: - Drive recruitment strategies aligned with the People Strategy and contribute to business strategies.
- Provide analytics and guidance for workforce planning strategies.
- Support and advise People Business Partners and leaders on HR processes.
- Collaborate with recruiting officers to deliver end-to-end recruitment services.
- Research, develop, and implement HR projects and initiatives.
- Coach managers and leaders on performance excellence, change management, and recruitment.
- Review, develop, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Monitor HR metrics and generate reports using HRIS.
About You: - Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or similar role.
- Local government experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, performance management, and enterprise agreements.
- Experience in employee relations and handling workplace change.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and provide practical HR solutions.
- Proactive, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
