Public Sector People are currently partnered with a local council looking for a temporary development Engineer with the responsibility for assessing and approving public domain frontage works applications associated with both development applications and other activities concerning the public domain within the LGA.

Council are looking for candidates with experiance in Development Frontage engineering and Roads Act applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Input to frontage development within the public domain in accordance with legislation and policy.
• Liaise with Assessment staff to ensure conditions of consent with respect to the public domain are appropriately applied to development proposals.
• Engage and manage consultants to deliver Public Domain related services as agreed by the team leader.

• Hourly Rate: $50 - $85ph + Super (depending on experiance)
• Southern Sydney
• Initial 6 month contract, with potential for extension
• Hybrid work arrangement
