This state department are in search of an
Infrastructure Advisor
to provide expert guidance and support for school facilities, ensuring they are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role is key in delivering high-quality infrastructure services across education sites.
As an Infrastructure Advisor, you will:
- Provide expert advice on facilities planning, investment strategies, and asset management.
- Support schools, regional centres, and educational facilities with infrastructure planning and operational needs.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to deliver effective facilities solutions.
- Oversee the delivery of capital works, maintenance projects, and facility services to meet scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Prepare reports, ministerial briefings, and operational audits on physical assets.
- Collaborate with regional teams, senior management, and government agencies to enhance infrastructure outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with policies, governance standards, and risk management requirements.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in facilities planning, asset management, or infrastructure operations.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and builds strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Can assess complex infrastructure challenges and provide strategic, solution-focused advice.
- Is confident in managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Has excellent communication and report-writing skills, with an ability to influence and advise senior leaders.
- Is adaptable, proactive, and eager to contribute to continuous improvement in education infrastructure.
