Public Sector People are recruiting for an experienced AO3 Revenue Officer on behalf of a State Government Department. You will be responsible for a range of accounts receivable duties, including data analysis, patient billing, liaising with insurers, and debt recovery. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. This is a temporary opportunity for 3 months + potential extension.

Key Responsibilities: - Review and analyse patient data to identify chargeable services and maximise revenue collection.
- Accurately input, update, and retrieve data within various financial systems (AUSLAB, HBCIS, S/4HANA).
- Liaise with patients, insurers, WorkCover, and other agencies to resolve billing issues and ensure timely payment.
- Manage all aspects of accounts receivable, from data quality to debt collection.
- Foster positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide training to new team members.
- Adhere to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in all duties.

- Experience working within a Health, Pathology or Medicare billing environment is highly desirable.
