A04 Grants Processing Officers on behalf of a
State Government Department
as a part of the Community Recovery Activation, supporting severely weather affected communities in Queensland.
About the role: As a Grants Processing Officer you will be handling inbound calls and reviewing/processing disaster grant applications, maintaining accurate data and reporting and effectively communicating with stakeholders in the affected areas.
We require candidates who are available immediately
at short notice and flexible with their work hours. This role will require weekend work, as well as the potential to be rostered between 6:00 am - 10:00 pm, Monday to Sunday.
Benefits of the Role - Central Brisbane Location
- $58.02 per hour + Super
- 4 on - 2 off roster, Monday to Sunday
Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate
and process grant applications according to departmental policies and funding guidelines.
- Maintain
detailed and organized records of grant applications, approvals, and funding allocations.
- Facilitate
communication with applicants, offering guidance on submission protocols and deadlines.
- Ensure
grant compliance and track reporting requirements, overseeing timely submission of required documentation.
- Provide
ongoing support to applicants throughout the grant process, ensuring all necessary steps are followed.
About You: - Ability to quickly and accurately navigate multiple systems
- Flexible availability
- Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills
- You will be required to undertake a Criminal History Check (CHC) if successful
